Flying – Dream or Reality

Paragliding Club Košava had an opportunity to enjoy working and associating with youths through creative workshop Flying – Dream or Reality

                                 Paragliding club Košava  realizing this project was supported by:



   

The City of Belgrade Secretariat for Sport and Yout		The Municipality of Surčin		The Duke Karađorđe Primary school,  Jakovo

Creative workshop, gathered youths from six primary schools, including all ages (from the first to the eight grade). We started with planned activities on January 10th, 2011 in the Duke Karađorđe Primary school at the Municipality of Surčin, so associated for five days until the January 14th, 2011. The activities continued every day since 10am until 3pm.

program contents:

1. Introducing youths with working plan; flying - basic education

• meteorology
• orientation (use of maps and compass)
• paragliding

2. A Lecture from Rocket-model area and working practice with parachute S-3

 

3. A visit to the Museum of Aviation

4. Basic prepares for start (engine, lighter); coming out to the field and starting the model

The competition successfully ended and we got the winners:

 

5. Awards handing over (charters, medals, diplomas for participating, CDs) and presentation of paragliders and paragliding equipment.
